I first saw Cats Don't Dance while studying at BYU. The animation and character design in this film are first class. It also has, I think, two of the funniest villains I've ever seen in animation. To top it all off, there's also dance choreography composed by the great Gene Kelly!!!!!
There are a lot of great movies about Hollywood and movie-making (Sunset Boulevard, The Artist and Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse are my personal favorites). For this, I just thought I'd combine this underrated piece of animation with one of my favorite films of the new decade.
