"Ed Wood" reverse boards

This is an exercise that I haven't done in a while called "reverse boards". This is where you board a clip from a movie after watching it. It's a great way to really analyze a film clip and see why the director shot the scene the way he/she did.

This is from a scene in Tim Burton's "Ed Wood", one of my favorite comedies and films about movie-making. In this scene, Ed (Johnny Depp) has found a potential backer for his film "Bride of the Monster" named Loretta (Juliet Landau). Loretta also wants to act in the film but chooses a part that is already taken by Ed's girlfriend, Dolores (Sarah Jessica Parker).
