Juanjo Guarnido Emulation- character and environment

Emulation assignment where we have to emulate an artist and create our own character and environment using it. For mine, I emulated the great Spanish comic book artist, Juanjo Guarnido. By emulating his work, I re-created the moment in the Roman Empire where Emperor Titus returns in triumph from the sacking of Jerusalem. Guarnido is best known for his anthropromorph characters from "Blacksad" so I did an anthropromorph version of the Roman Empire. (Titus is the tiger). I also tried playing with perspective a little bit, since we could all use a little work on that.

"Dracula" drawings

This semester, I had the privelege of doing art for a production of "Dracula" held here in Utah Valley. The production included voice actors who did a performance based on Orson Welle's script for a radio production of "Dracula". During the performance, my drawings, along with the art of two other artists, were projected on a screen as the actors performed. It was a lot of fun to work on, but nevertheless, very time consuming. Here are some of the drawings I did.

animania!!!!!

My animal drawings for Ryan's class; tried to rely on the work of the almighty Claire Wendling as a good resource. It was great help alright; made me realize just how much farther I need to go.
